October 2007 Pictures

Corbin looked so cute in his little scarecrow outfit. Maybe we should have taken him in his costume to the scarecrow festival at Peddler's Village. He would have fit right in!

That hat kept driving Mommy crazy!
Even when making a silly face, he is still so stinking cute!

Birthday Boy!!! Our little man is official one year old!

Daddy and the birthday boy at the playground on Corbin's birthday. We had a fun filled day of going to the playground, playing at Chuck E. Cheese, dining at Macaroni Grill (where they sang "Happy Birthday" to him and gave him a cake), and shopping at Toys R Us! At Toys R Us, they announced that it was his birthday, gave him a crown, and gave him a birthday balloon. It was really fun!

Snuggles with his papa...

Thanks so much for lending us the blow up Elmo, Chris! He was the hit of Corbin's birthday party!

It took Mommy many, many times to get a picture of Corbin standing long enough by Elmo to get a picture!

"Come here Elmo. I have a secret to tell you!"

"What is that flame for? I want to touch it!"

"What are you people doing? Why are you singing and laughing at me?"

"My mom is there and my dad is there, but I have no idea what is going on..."

"When are you going to let me dig into that cupcake? It looks so yummy. Thanks Grandmom for making it for me!"

Digging into an Elmo cupcake. This was Corbin's first time ever eating cake! He looooooved it (especially the chocolate cake!)

The little guy peeking over the table at the cupcake was the first one to actually get one of Corbin's cupcakes! When Mommy and Daddy were not looking, Luke managed to get his hands into one...Smart thinking!

It took Corbin a little bit to figure out what he was supposed to do with the cupcake. Elmo's eyes were made of marshmallows and chocolate M&M's. Corbin has never had either of those before...

Daddy had to show Corbin what to do...Way to go Dad!

Now he is getting the hang of it...

Corbin digging into the cupcake on his own.

Right before Corbin had the cupcake, Mommy changed him into a red onesie. She just did not want to have to wash red food die out of his white shirt...

Gotta love the icing all over his face...

Corbin had a lot of leftovers so he took cupcakes with him to daycare and shared them with his friends there...

Mommy and Daddy enjoyed the leftover cake as well. It was soooo yummy! Grandmom did a great job with it!

"How do I look, Dad?"

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch! Corbin and Daddy were posing in a great big pumpkin...

Corbin the farmer boy...

Is he Amish?

My boy loves tractors (or anything with wheels). I think that it runs in his blood...

***Picture of Corbin and Daddy in the pumpkin patch. Corbin on Daddy's shoulders...grabbing his ears...

We bought some yummy apple cider and took a fun ride out to the pumpkin patch. Daddy was carrying Corbin on his shoulders. Every time that Daddy leaned back, Corbin would grab his ears to keep from falling backwards (although Daddy would never let him go!).

"Don't let me go, Dad"
Daddy and Corbin posing with the pumpkins that we picked! A big pumpkin for Daddy and Mommy as well as a small pumpkin for Corbin.

Mommy and Corbin with our prize pumpkins!

Corbin loved his little pumpkin! It was just his size! He did not want to let it go.

Daddy and Corbin on the wagon back to pay for our pumpkins. Corbin (of course) is smiling at one of the pretty ladies on our wagon...He is going to be heartbreaker when he is a teenager.

We tried to take pictures in front of the haystacks earlier in the day, however the direction that the sun was pointing made it very difficult. At the end of the day, it was perfect!

There are some smiles (some true smiles for Daddy holding the camera).

Since it was the end of the day, one of the wagons had "retired" for the night. There was no one in it when we got there, so we plopped Corbin in it and took pictures of him in the hay. Once people saw us doing it, they wanted to do it too.

When we first got to the pumpkin patch, we saw that there were hay bales set up for the little kids to play in. Corbin was not interested in it at the time, but later in the day, he didn't want to get out!
He looked so small in this HUGE wagon!!!

Our little pumpkin with his pumpkins!

Mommy just loves the fact that Corbin was born in the fall. Can you tell? She has taken many pictures of Corbin with leaves and pumpkins or whatever dort of fall prop that she can.

Closeup of our little farmer boy...

Gotta love this pose because you can see the trademark teddy bear emblem (on Corbin's back pocket) that Gap uses on all of their clothes.

Corbin loves to play with his ear especially when he is sleepy...

Corbin showing off his clapping skills. Whenever we say "yay" to Corbin, he begins clapping his hands.

All I can say is that we did NOT pose him in this way. He did it completely on his own.

Our little birthday boy! It is so hard to believe that he is almost one!!!

"I wanna grab that cake so bad but my Mommy and Daddy keeping saying not to. Should I?"

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree...
Mommy loves dressing Corbin in stripes and plaids. Have you noticed that??

Just chilling out...
