So, when we went to the doctor for Corbin's fifteen month checkup, the doctor said that Corbin should be practicing how to eat with a spoon...
Mommy and Daddy sighed when they heard that because they knew that meant one thing: BIG MESS!!!!
So, Mommy and Daddy gave me something to eat that would be real thick and may not get super messy...CEREAL!
I wasn't quite sure how to hold the spoon so that I could get it in my mouth.
I have seen Mommy and Daddy hold their spoons but I couldn't just hold it the same way...
So I did whatever I could to get the cereal in my mouth...
It was so fun! I couldn't stop smiling...
I licked the spoon like it was a lollipop...
And held it in really weird positions...
For whatever reason, Mommy could not stop laughing...
And she had that silly camera in my face the whole time...
I gave up on the actual spoon and used the best spoon there is - MY HANDS!
Till there was nothing left...
It wasn't working as well as I hoped...
So, I just put the bowl up to my face and licked it out of the bowl...
Mommy could not stop laughing....
The next night we tried it again....Ugh! Look at how messy my hands are!
"Life is so tough...why do they make me eat with a spoon?"
Grandpa was over and thought that it was so funny too...
My hair was so crazy and Mommy still had that camera out...
I guess that I will just give in and give her a smile...
Corbin, the construction worker...
Mommy and Daddy get a kick out of how it makes my hair stand up due to the static...
Corbin checking the mailbox for a letter from his girlfriend...
Corbin's new love is Little People. He just loves to line them up on the table. He has all kinds of vehicles for them to go in...a tractor, a dump truck, a backhoe...His favorite Little People are actually Little Animals...the horse and the cow seem to be the ones that he loves...
Sitting on the sofa, enjoying some time with Mom...
Corbin playing in his play area. Notice the cow off to the right - he is one of Corbin's favorite "Little People / Animals".
Not too busy playing to stop and give us a smile...
Every once in a while, while he is playing, he will turn around and say "hi" just to remind us that he is there...
All tuckered out...he needed to sit down and take a break....
Corbin loves to "get" Mommy and Daddy's toes...here he is grabbing Mommy's toes. Mommy pretends to scream and he thinks that it is sooooo funny!
Having fun at Candy and Darby's house....
....and trying to get through their baby gate to get into their kitchen...
Corbin always seems to have rosy cheeks - especially after he just gets up from a nap...
Corbin loves, loves, loves books. He will sit there for hours just looking through the books. Here he is giving us a smile as he plays with his books.
Corbin loves to take all of the books out of the container and then put them back in. He is all about organizing and stacking. It is so funny to see his personality come out...
Corbin even "reads" to us as he turns the page. We have no idea what he is saying, but he sure knows!
We have no idea why but Corbin loves to put his toys in his mouth and walk around like that. Here he has a frog (meant for the bathtub) in his mouth and is walking around the living room with it in his mouth.
He is trying to stuff the duck in there too...oh my!
Construction Corbin in his Gap pajamas from Aunt Paula and Uncle Rob.
Corbin was not feeling well when this picture was taken, so he was hanging on Daddy's leg...
Fireman Corbin in his Gap pajamas...
Corbin was being a ham this day...and Mommy just got this beautiful digital camera so she was trying it out and taking LOTS of pictures!!!!
Corbin handing the construction hat off to Daddy....
Corbin and his Little People Farm that he got for Christmas...
Here he is moving the chicken back and forth on the farm in order to make the music begin. After the song started, he kept looking back at us and would shake his little behind to dance to the music.
Cute Smiley Baby...
The frog is back in the mouth...
